Fat Injection

Fat injection/grafting is a technique used to sculpt or add volume to areas of the face (or occasionally as an adjunct for breast reconstruction). As compared to other products, (i.e. hyaluronic acids, collagens, calcium hydroxyapatite) fat injection/grafting involves the use of liposuction-type equipment to transfer fat from one area of the body (tummy, buttocks, hips) to another. This procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia alone or with a combination of local anesthesia and sedation (twilight anesthesia) on an outpatient basis.
